Our work
HumanTrafficking& Protection
The same networks. The same corridors.
Awareness and protection work delivered with community programmes
Countering exploitation and transnational human trafficking. Strengthening inter-agency awareness, cross-border protection frameworks, and referral systems for vulnerable populations.
The challenge
Human trafficking runs through the same corridors, facilitators and transport networks as environmental crime. Where ecosystems collapse and livelihoods disappear, vulnerability to exploitation rises.
Protection depends on institutions recognising the signs, knowing where to refer a case, and coordinating across borders. These are the same capability gaps that limit the response to wildlife crime.
Our response
ATI supports inter-agency awareness of trafficking indicators, cross-border protection frameworks, and referral pathways for people at risk, delivered alongside our enforcement capacity work rather than separately from it.
ATI strengthens:
- Inter-agency awareness of trafficking indicators
- Cross-border protection and referral frameworks
- Community-level vigilance in at-risk corridors
