Advocate and Executive Director of ATI, leading the organisation's environmental crime, human trafficking and gender-based violence programmes across Tanzania and the wider region.
Background
Wisdom Mande is a Tanzanian advocate and the Executive Director of Africa Transformational Initiative, where she oversees the organisation's overall operations.
She is a registered advocate with the Tanganyika Law Society and a graduate of the Law School of Tanzania, holding a Bachelor of Laws from Tumaini University Dar es Salaam (TUDarCO) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.
Before joining ATI she was Country Coordinator at Grace Farms Foundation Africa, working on human trafficking, environmental crimes and gender-based violence, and earlier practised with Rweyongeza Advocates and Company.
Through her career Wisdom has worked with government institutions, law enforcement and community organisations across sub-Saharan Africa to build joint responses to environmental crime, gender-based violence and human trafficking.
