Former United States Special Agent and Diplomat with over 25 years initiating and managing covert operations against human trafficking, arms trafficking and money laundering.
Background
Eric J. Caron is a former U.S. Special Agent and U.S. Diplomat with over 25 years of experience initiating and managing worldwide covert operations targeting human trafficking, drug smuggling, arms trafficking and money laundering.
He has held senior positions with the Department of the Treasury, Homeland Security and INTERPOL, and is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist. He received the U.S. Attorney General's Award for National Security and a citation from the Secretary General of INTERPOL.
He currently serves as an international security consultant assisting East African nations in combating transnational crime, and volunteers as a law enforcement liaison for Voices Against Human Trafficking.
He taught interview technique and financial investigation across the training series and served as a facilitator at the October 2023 controlled delivery course in Arusha.
